Frequently Asked Questions

  • You may have been assigned to the Driver Improvement Program (DIP) by the MVA, Courts, or an Administrative Law Judge.
  • You may have received your first moving violation while holding a provisional license.
  • You may be suspended or revoked - and need the Driver Improvement Program (DIP) to get your suspension lifted or to get reinstated.
  • If you are revoked, you will need to complete the program as part of your reinstatement process. You will not have a referral letter telling you to complete the program by a certain date.
  • In all of the other instances concerning an MVA referral letter, you will need to complete the program by the Completion Date (Due Date) listed on the top of your letter or you will be suspended until you successfully finish the program.

You will receive your Certificate of Completion immediately after you have passed your 10 to 15 minute final exam, which you must take in-person at one our posted test areas. The "Test Areas" link is in our menu section above. You will be permitted to take the final exam (at the test area) after we have checked your photo identification and verified that you have completed the 11 Session Driver Improvement Program online.

The cost of the Driver Improvement Program (DIP) is . You will pay this fee once you have passed the final exam at one of our test areas in order to receive your Certificate of Completion. We accept .

You can complete the course at your own pace logging on and off as many times as necessary to complete the course. However, keep in mind, the MVA or court has probably given you a deadline or due date by which you need to complete the course. Remember: Completing the course includes taking the final exam "in-person" at one of our posted test areas.

There are NO special system requirements or downloads necessary to take this online course. You will need to have JavaScript enabled on your Internet browser to view some of the features in the course.  If you don't know what this means, don't worry!!  Most modern browsers (like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox, etc.) are JavaScript enabled already by default.  So unless you have manually disabled JavaScript yourself, you will be fine.

  1. To begin, return to our home page and click on the "Sign Up" button or on the "Sign Up (New?)" link in our menu section.
  2. Select your course.
  3. Fill out the registration form.
  4. Review the information and click on the "register" button.
  5. The list of sessions will appear. Click on the "start course" button to begin learning!

No; you can log-in, re-enter, and take the course using any computer with any type of Internet connection.

You can either go to our home page and click the 'Log In' button (under "Returning Student?") or you can click the 'Log In (Returning?)' link in our menu section. Then you will just enter your First Name, Last Name, and Birthday and click the "Login" button to resume the course. Don't worry, our student progress monitoring feature will allow to pick up exactly where you left off.

If you fail to receive a passing score of 80% or better on the final exam, the MVA requires that you wait at least 24 hours before you will be allowed to re-take the test. This applies to BOTH classroom and Internet, and ALL schools. We will not collect your fee until you pass the test.

You may go back and review the course online for FREE until you pass the final exam at a test area.

YES, the MVA will be notified in time. We transmit your certificate information via email to the MVA within 24 hours of your course completion. BUT REMEMBER, 'course completion' means finishing the online readings AND also coming "in-person" to one of our posted test areas to take your final exam.

Cancellation Policy: Our policy is not to cancel unless there is an extreme weather condition. In this situation, the cancellation will be posted immediately to the Test Areas page under the corresponding test location.
